People first, search second
Search research helps us understand the question a reader is trying to answer. It does not justify padding, duplicated pages or claims written only to attract clicks. Every indexable page should satisfy a distinct need and give the reader a usable next step.
Source hierarchy
- Public-health and professional guidanceWe begin with current guidance from organisations such as the NHS and recognised professional bodies.
- Systematic reviews and position standsBroad recommendations should be supported by evidence that considers multiple studies where possible.
- Primary researchIndividual studies can add detail, but should not be presented as the final answer when the evidence is mixed.
- Coaching judgementPractical decisions such as exercise order or equipment substitutions are labelled as programme design choices rather than universal scientific facts.
How programme pages are checked
- The audience, equipment and weekly schedule must be explicit.
- Exercises need sets, reps, rest and effort guidance.
- Progression must explain when to add, repeat or reduce.
- Substitutions should preserve the movement pattern or programme purpose.
- Safety language must match the scope of a general educational page.
- Sources should be linked close to the claims they support.
Automation and AI tools
Automation tools may assist with research organisation, drafting, design, data analysis or technical production. They are not treated as evidence. Factual and training recommendations still need to be checked against appropriate sources, and invented credentials or experiences are never acceptable.
Updates, conflicts and corrections
Dates are updated only when a page has been materially reviewed. Commercial relationships, affiliate links or sponsorships will be disclosed on the relevant page if introduced. We do not currently accept payment to alter a training recommendation.
When a factual or safety-related error is identified, the priority is to correct the page rather than silently defend old wording. A public corrections channel will be added with the project contact inbox before the next production release.
